Hortikultur Organik, Dari Desa ke Kota - Organic Horticulture, From Village to City
Konsumsi sayur dan buah-buahan organik masyarakat semakin meningkat khususnya di perkotaan. Konsumen yang memiliki kesadaran pola makan dan hidup sehat adalah pangsa pasar untuk produk ini. Namun demikian supply produk hortikultur organik masih relative terbatas. Untuk itu program masuk dalam rantai pasok sektor ini bekerjasama dengan beberapa kelompok tani di daerah. Intervensi program dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan pelaku usaha yang bergerak di pertanian organik, sekaligus membantu akses pasar ke beberapa supermarket. Salah satu lokasi kelompok tani yang menjadi supply side berada di Jeneponto. Sebagian besar produk organik ini masuk ke modern market khususnya di Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan.

Consumption of organic vegetables and fruits of the community is increasing, especially in urban areas. Consumers who have an awareness of eating patterns and healthy living are the market share for this product. However, the supply of organic horticulture products is still relatively limited. For this reason, the program is included in the sector's supply chain in collaboration with several farmer groups in the regions. Program interventions are conducted to grow businesses engaged in organic farming, while also helping market access to several supermarkets. One of the locations of farmer groups that become supply side is in Jeneponto. Most of these organic products enter the modern market, especially in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi.
